KonzertCheck vs Concert Archives
Both apps keep a history of the concerts you have been to. They are built around different ideas: Concert Archives around the archive, KonzertCheck around the review. Here is what that means in practice.
Pick Concert Archives if…
- You want to manage your history from a computer as well as your phone. Concert Archives has a web version; KonzertCheck is phone only.
- Your history goes back decades and completeness is the goal. It has been building its concert database for years.
Pick KonzertCheck if…
- You want to score every show. 0 to 10 in half points, plus your top moment, top song and whether you would see them again. Your profile then tells you if you rate as Critical, Balanced or Generous.
- You want other fans' take on the same night. Open a show and see other fans' public reviews of it, with their scores, photos and videos.
- You go with friends. Tag who you were with; they get a notification and can add their own review of the same night in a couple of taps, so both takes sit side by side.
- You want a feed, not just a list. Your home tab is what the people you follow saw and rated, which is a good way to find a band worth seeing live.
- You do festivals. A festival is one entry, day by day, with a quick score for every act, and the line-up ranks itself by what you rated highest.
- You want the next show too. The upcoming tab lists concerts near you from Ticketmaster and See Tickets, with every ticket seller for a show on one card, and can alert you when an artist you would see again announces a show nearby.

Questions
Is KonzertCheck a good alternative to Concert Archives?
If you want to rate and review each show and follow what your friends thought, yes. If you mainly want a complete archive that you can also edit in a browser, Concert Archives is the better fit. Many people use both.
Can I move my Concert Archives history to KonzertCheck?
There is no automatic import yet. You can add past shows with any date, and each takes under a minute because the artist and venue are searched for you. If you have a long history to move, email info@konzertcheck.com; demand for an importer decides whether we build one.
Does KonzertCheck have a web version?
Not yet. KonzertCheck runs on iPhone (iOS 16 or later) and Android (8.0 or later).
